Stupid shitty game

There is a game mechanic wherein you must tap a button at the right time in order to get a head start, and three stars. However, this is done at the start of the level, and at that point, you will habitually be clicking to get past all the stupid menus, meaning that you will hit early. I am filled full of rage when this happens. Also, its damn near impossible to complete the story without pricey micro transactions.
